Aditro improves ASP usability with Emillion's Distal authentication

Aditro, the leading provider of business process improvement solutions, consulting and outsourcing services in the Nordic region, and Emillion, a Finnish company and a forerunner in identity and access management solutions, has agreed on deploying Emillion's Distal authentication solution in Aditro's ASP services.

Aditro will integrate Distal in its Nordic HRM ASP service platform. With Distal authentication, Aditro's customers can access the applications from their intranets without separately signing on. The user experience is similar to all in-house applications.

Distal authentication is based on the utilization of the user's intranet user profile. Distal fetches the user identity information from the intranet and passes it to Aditro's applications. This automates keeping the user information and access rights up-to-date in the applications. Easier sign-on and simplified user management brings cost savings and improved security to both Aditro and its customers.

Aditro offers the automatic sign-on to all its customers. "We chose Distal because of its obvious strengths: it is very easy for our customers to start using it immediately.
